Bramlage Coliseum was built in 1988, funded by student fees, private donations from alumni and friends of the University. The building is named in honor of Fred Bramlage, a local philanthropist and staunch supporter of Kansas State, who was the volunteer chairman of the capital campaign to raise funds for this facility. The facility provides seating for 13,500 Wildcat basketball fans, and also provides a multipurpose facility for commencement, concerts, trade shows, and other events.
