Bryan Heinrich, CF-L1

Bryan HeinrichA K-State graduate, Bryan has been a CrossFit trainer since 2008, starting at CrossFit Oahu in Honolulu, HI. Bryan is one of three Level II CrossFit Trainers (a certification that includes both a written test and a practical evaluation of knowledge and training skills as they apply to one-on-one, small group and large group training) in the State of Kansas. He is also certified by CrossFit in Olympic Weightlifting, Running and Endurance, Gymnastics, Nutrition, Science of Exercise, Mobility and Recovery, and CrossFit Kids. He is a USA Level 1 Weightlifting Coach and has been trained on the C2 rower by Olympic Gold Medalist, Erin Cafaro. Besides the Elements classes and regular class schedule, Bryan leads the Barbell Strength Program.

 Aaron Scott, CF-L1

Aaron ScottAaron graduated from Kansas State University in 2007 with a degree in anthropology.  He holds certifications as a CrossFit Level 1 trainer, as an American Heart Association Healthcare Provider (CPR and AED), and as a Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician.  As an undergraduate, he was a member of the KSU/Fort Riley rugby club and in 2010, completed Ironman Kansas 70.3.

 

Craig Wiebe, CF-L1

Craig

Craig is currently a student at K-state, studying Wildlife and Outdoor Management.  He is a Crossfit Level 1 certified trainer;he also holds a certification in Crossfit Mobility, and is a USA weightlifting Level 1 sports performance coach.  Additionally, Craig served in the United States Marine Corp Infantry for four years.  He is currently on the K-state Crossfit Club team, and enjoys combining fitness with the outdoors.

 

 

Christian Larson, MS, CF-L1

Christian LarsonChristian is an instructor for the Kinesiology Department as well as a trainer for K-State CrossFit. He has a Master of Science Degree in Kinesiology from Kansas State University and is a CrossFit Level 1 certified trainer. He was an item writer for the CrossFit Coaching Certification Exam. He is also a certified instructor for the American Heart Association and is a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Christian worked full-time as a manager and trainer in the fitness industry between 1998 and 2007 prior to joining the K-State Kinesiology Department in 2007. He was an item writer for the CrossFit Coaching Certification Exam.

 

Katie Heinrich, PhD, CF-L1

Katie HeinrichKatie is the faculty member responsible for K-State CrossFit. She is an Assistant Professor of Physical Activity and Public Health and Director of the Functional Intensity Training Laboratory.  She holds a CrossFit Level 1 certification and also is CrossFit Kids certified. She is certified Level I and Level II: Jumps by USA Track & Field. She was an item writer for the CrossFit Coaching Certification Exam.
