Functional Fitness and Mobility
What is it?
Functional Fitness and Mobility (FFM) is a low-intensity training class where learning and mastering technique and form is the emphasis rather than trying to achieve the fastest time or heaviest lift. This class is designed to focus on personal achievements in a non-competitive environment.
Each session will include a strength or skill component, as well as a mobility workout of the day, emphasizing the importance of stretching and recovery. Classes are small with more personal attention; limited to 8 people.
Is FFM for me?
Yes! FFM is open to anyone of any ability who is at least 18 years of age. This class is perfect for the beginner who may feel intimidated to join a larger group class, someone with a minor or chronic injury who could use some mobility work, or for athletes who wants to improve their skills and mobility.
When: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 5:30-6:30pm
Where: Natatorium 4
Cost: $50 per month for 2 days/week or $75 per month for 3 days/week
