2017 Agronomy Department Cover Crop Field Day

Exciting advances in cover crop research will be featured at the 2017 Agronomy Field Day on November 3 at the Ashland Bottoms Research Farm in Manhattan. Topics will focus on understanding the role cover crops play in water quality, weed control, soil quality, and more.

K-State Agronomy Researchers Awarded Grant to Expand Study of Cover Crops and Fertilizer Management

Four researchers in Kansas State University's agronomy department were awarded a three-year, $468,599 grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture Natural Resources Conservation Services to continue research on cover crops and fertilizer management on phosphorous loss in surface runoff.
