Office Resources
The Greek Affairs office offers numerous resources to Greek members at K-State. Here is a list of some of those resources.
Community calendar
Find out about numerous chapter events and all-Greek events, including meetings, philanthropies, educational seminars, and training sessions, on our color-coded Greek calendar.
To add events to the community calendar, contact the Greek Affairs office.
Copier access
Each chapter may make 70 free copies per month (for chapter-related business), or 800 free copies per calendar year. If your chapter goes over 70 in a month, we will draw from your yearly allowance of free copies to make up the difference. After 800 free copies in one year, your chapter will be billed at a rate of $0.01 per copy.
Computer/printer access
We have seven student computers available on a first-come/first-serve basis: five desktop computers and two laptops, with a variety of software programs for creating flyers, memos, and other documents. Although usage is first-come/first-serve, IFC/PHC executive officers will generally take precedence for computer usage over other Greek community members if the office is particularly busy. We also have a full-color printer available for limited use.
Fax machine
Members of the Greek community may use the fax machine within the Greek Affairs office. You may send or receive chapter-related documents. Please call ahead to report that you are expecting to receive a fax so that we may direct it to the appropriate recipient (i.e., hold onto it for you until you can come pick it up).
To use the fax machine dial 9-1-(area code)-(fax number).
Wristbands
For distribution at your social events where alcohol will be present, wristbands should be given only to those attendees who are 21 years of age or older. We will issue these for free with your successful event registration. The maximum number of wristbands you can have per event is equal to one-third of the total number of expected attendees (including actives, new members, alumni, siblings, guests/dates).
