Dues structure
Membership dues and fees
Projected dues and fees for membership are developed from the averages of the chapter-reported dues and fees. Some chapters will assess a number above this projection, some will assess a number below this projection.
These numbers represent fall 2009 semester projections.
Fraternities
Affiliation dues and fees, one-time expenses: $475
- This fee is typically assessed by the chapter to cover the costs of new member affiliation. All new members can expect to pay a similarly first during the first semester of membership.
Out-of-house member dues and fees: $504/semester
- This fee is assessed to members living outside of the chapter house to cover expenses such as property use, national and IFC dues, social dues, etc. Typically men live in the chapter house freshmen through junior years and thus pay this fee their senior year only.
In-house member dues and fees: $2937/semester
- This fee is assessed to members living in the chapter house to cover room and board expenses (included typically a meal-plan), national and IFc dues, social dues, etc. Typically men live in the chapter house freshmen through junior years.
Sororities (updated August 3, 2009 at 5:00 p.m.)

Interfraternity Council and Panhellenic Council dues

Budgets are presented to the council and chapter representatives after careful consideration by the Finance Committee. The following breaks down exactly what each chapter is assessed:
Interfraternity Council
- Chapter affiliation fees: $75.00/chapter per semester
- Per capita fee: $29.50/member per semester
Panhellenic Council
- Per capita fee: $29.00/member per semester
