Being Greek is to have a family and home here at K-State. Not only have gotten to meet many amazing women in Kappa Alpha Theta, but I've also met other K-State students simply through Greek activities such as homecoming, philanthropy activities, and Greek week. Being Greek is a decision that you won't regret!
Erika Hawley, Kappa Alpha Theta from Andover, Kansas
Be you. Be Greek. is about being a apart of something much larger than myself, and giving back to that community in so many ways. I can excel in many areas of my college experience with the help and support of others wanting me to reach all my goals with the highest standards.

Being Greek to me means receiving a phone call at 9:56 asking if I can play softball and oh yeah, I can be there by 10:05 sprinting to my car, not having a glove, winning the game then having a sonic date to celebrate.

Be You, Be Greek is the smile that comes across your face when you see that first sister on campus after winter break. Be You, Be Greek represents every man and woman out there who do anything for their Greek sisters and brothers. Be You, Be Greek is the feeling of truly being home after a long day on campus and you open your house's front door.
Jackie Baker, Kappa Alpha Theta from Plano, Texas
What Be You Be Greek means to me is a home away from home! I came up to Kansas State not knowing a single person, but joining Kappa Alpha Theta was like getting a second family. They really took me in and made adjusting into a new room, school, and state so much easier and comfortable. Be You Be Greek means I got to stay a Texan at heart, but learn to love my new Greek Kansas family :)
Becca Brown, Kappa Alpha Theta from Satanta, Kansas
Be You Be Greek means to me having a home away from home. Somewhere that I can be comfortable and know that there is always someone around just to hang out and laugh with me. It means making the best friends that anyone could ask for.

Be You. Be Greek. means I have an incredible opportunity to be an individual, yet still be part of a whole chapter. It means my college experience will be anything but boring. Most importantly, it means I get a chance to form friendships that will last a lifetime.
Katie Wilson, Kappa Alpha Theta from Washington, KS
Be You. Be Greek, means that I can be myself without judgment from my sisters. I can stay up late with my closest friends laughing until my side hurts. I can get involved with my chapter, my university, and my community with the help of my sisters. Be You. Be Greek means that I can not only be part of my house, but I can be part of a community that encourages men and women to reach out to those around them and create relationships that will last a lifetime.
Brooke Swercinski, Kappa Alpha Theta from Overland Park, Kansas
Be you. Be greek. To me this means that we are all individuals with a unique voice, but by combining our voices, we become stronger. We can make a difference in each other's lives, in our chapters, in the community, and in the world.
Lauren Allen, Kappa Alpha Theta from Olathe Kansas
Being a part of the Greek community at KSU has taught me the true meaning of "be you. be greek." Within Kappa Alpha Theta, I have found friends and allies but mostly I have found sisters. My sisters encourage me to be myself, but also encourage me to put myself aside to participate in a community that it bigger than me.
Libby Coulter, Kappa Alpha Theta from Overland Park, KS
be you. be greek. represents the joy I get from being part of something that is bigger than myself, something that stands for what I believe in and something that has shaped me (and continues to shape me) into a more well rounded woman. I am thankful that I am a member of Kappa Alpha Theta because I have truly found sisters that would do anything for me, because they know I would do the same for them.

Whitney Davis, Kappa Alpha Theta from Lenexa, Kansas
"Be You, Be Greek"is a community of individuals that helps to draw out peoples differences and enable their strengths. It is fellowship and friendship, and a way to reach out. It is individualistic and communal at the same time, building off one another to impact not only ourselves, but the community and the world at large, one person at a time. You and I, a part of the whole, small yet revolutionary. I am me.
I am greek.
Jacquie Dewbre, Kappa Alpha Theta from Buhler, Kansas
To me, "Be You, Be Greek" means having a house full of sisters that support me in whatever I do. It means going back to school is not leaving home, just coming back to my home in Manhattan. It means meeting great people during Homecoming, Greek Week, and philanthropies. Being Greek has truly changed my life for the better, and I would do anything for my Theta sisters, since I know they would do the same for me.
