Manhattan is located in the transition between the humid continental (Köppen Dfa) and humid subtropical (Köppen Cfa) climate zones. Normal early October temperatures typically feature very pleasant high temperatures (low 70s Fahrenheit) and crisp evenings (mide 40s Fahrenheit). Precipitation is possible, but snowfall is unlikely.
