The Division of Facilities believes that employees and their employer always benefit from a mutually rewarding work environment. All employees are expected to work professionally within their departments to handle employee relations issues. Facilities’ has embarked on a new concept known as Transformation to Excellence a process that promotes personal and professional growth. The goal is to empower employees to reach their maximum potential fostering the very best in each employee by imparting wisdom that unleashes the employee’s ability to develop relationship skills no matter what position they hold. Each month in the FM News Bulletin a “Quest for Excellence” article is published that contains relationship strategies that will enhance an employee’s ability to make better choices when conflicts arise. The skills learned equip employees to resolve the issues internally. If a satisfactory resolution is not agreed upon employees are encouraged to contact the University Employee Relations Office at 532-6277.
