Teacher Professional Development (2 Weeks)

Explore topics in teaching English Reading, Writing, Speaking, and Listening. Additional sessions focus on using technology in the classroom, creating an interactive learning environment, and dealing with issues of assessment security and academic integrity. Observe classes in the English Language Program, tour our Testing and Tutoring Center and interact with ELP faculty. You will complete a project based on your interests to present at the end of the course.

In addition to the course work, you will take a field trip to explore the culture and lifestyle of Manhattan, Kansas, the home of Kansas State University, and surrounding venues.

For information about a degree or certificate program in TESL/TEFL, visit the Department of Modern Languages
