Associate Director for Student Services
On a daily basis, Leena works with students who are in need of special services or are in trouble. She also supervises the ITC and TTC which are both units of the ELP related to student service and technology. Leena also communicates with prospective students who are suitable for the K-State Fast Program.
ELP Advisor and Instructor
Ellen has taught all/many levels over the past 10 years. However, in the last 5 years she has mostly taught the lowest level, 136, in Listening/Speaking or Reading.
She advises levels 136, 138, and 140, as well as advising the students placed in TOWARD classes. TOWARD students are from every level.
ELP Advising Coordinator and Instructor
Advisor for graduate students and exit-level students.
Ms. Darnell teaches upper-level writing courses and serves on the ELP Writing Committee. Her research interests include academic honesty and integrity and using brain-based research to inform the teaching and learning of English.

Laura has taught Intermediate to Advanced Reading, Writing, and Listening.
She advises High Intermediate students.
Originally from a small town in the Midwest, Laura has lived and taught English in both Japan and New York City.
