Grants...

Travel Grants

The objective of the BGSA Travel Grant is to provide funding to facilitate travel of a biology graduate student to a scientific meeting, workshop or other professional development activity. One grant is awarded per period and a student may receive only one grant per degree. Awards of up to $300 per student (contingent upon funding) will be paid upon the submission of original travel receipts. Travel Grants will be reviewed using a point-based system adopted by BGSA.

Prior to preparing an application, please download and carefully read the Travel Grant policy, procedure and application.

Finishing Grants

These grants are offered to active members of the BGSA at the time of the members successful defense. Finishing grants may be used to cover the cost of electronic thesis/dissertation fees and other costs associated with finishing a MS or PhD in the Division. Please complete this application and return it before your expected defense.
