Office of Affirmative Action to transition to Office of Institutional Equity

As we continue to advance our vision and goals for K-State 2025, strategic and transformative leadership is necessary. Effective July 1, 2014, the Division of Human Capital Services is consolidating and integrating the human resource functions and services offered in the Office of Academic Personnel, Office of Affirmative Action and Division of Human Resources. The elevated level of service that results will take the development of our faculty and staff — K-State's greatest resource — to new heights.

In a continued effort to meet the needs of university faculty, staff, and students, and in further transitioning to the K-State 2025 vision, the Office of Affirmative Action will officially change to the Office of Institutional Equity, effective July 1, 2014.  The compliance and investigations functions will remain exclusive to the Office of Institutional Equity as the university progresses toward centralizing its human capital services under the newly formed Division of Human Capital Services.
