Celebrate the 96th Annual Family Weekend | September 27-28, 2024

This event celebrates 96 years of welcoming families to the campus for activities designed around family, togetherness and pride.

Participants enjoy a variety of activities which showcase the history, tradition, and special connection between K-State, our students, and their families.

We welcome families from anywhere in the nation or world and want to make your weekend special!

Friday, September 27, 2024

Family Pinning Ceremony | Time and Location TBD

Join us as we celebrate the commitment of K-Staters who share a loyalty to the University. This ceremony honors students who are the first in their family to attend K-State and also honors students who are following a family legacy of Wildcats. Families will pin their student during the ceremony. In turn, students will present a pin to each of their family members as a symbol of their unconditional support of Wildcats. Advanced registration will be required.

Family Weekend Tailgate | Time and Location TBD

Experience a true K-State tailgate. Enjoy brunch while making memories with your family. Menu includes breakfast burritos, biscuits & gravy, assorted pastries, yogurt parfaits, potatoes O'Brien, coffee, tea and water. Gluten free vegetaria and vegan options provided! Will you be the family to win our top tailgate raffle prize? Purchase raffle tickets to win a $2,000 scholarship! Meet other families and enjoy other activities. Family fun for all ages! Advanced registration will be required. Tickets will be available soon for online purchase.

After the Family Weekend Tailgate, take a short walk to the Bill Snyder Family Stadium to watch the K-State vs Troy football game! A link to purchase tickets online will be available soon.
