Imagine this! The Chicago Cultural Center is having a concert series with the theme, “Love Around the World.” They want to play music about love that represents every culture from around the world. The director of the Chicago Cultural Center has recently become interested in the love poetry of Rumi, a Sufi poet whose poetry is similar in subject and form to the Song of Solomon. He would like you to commission a piece based on a poem by Rumi to pair with “Set Me As A Seal” by Richard Nance for the concert series.
