MANHATTAN — Kansas State University's McCain Performance Series presents the Ozark Mountain Daredevils on their farewell tour at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 23.
With eight of their albums selling more than 2 million copies and worldwide hits like "Jackie Blue" and "If You Want To Get To Heaven" still in regular classic rock rotation, the Ozark Mountain Daredevils have come a long way from the Missouri bars and porches where their music was born. Combining stunning vocal harmonies with a distinctive mix of country rock and electric bluegrass, the Dares are one of the most decorated country rock bands of the 20th century.
Tickets are available online at mccain.k-state.edu or at the ticket office in the McCain Auditorium lobby from noon to 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Fridays. Tickets are also available by phone at 785-532-6428 during the same hours.
Tickets for youth 17 and younger are half price for this show. Discounted tickets to this show are also available for K-State faculty and staff, seniors 62 and older, and members of the military. Original IDs will be required to obtain discounts — third-party, photocopied or web-based IDs are not accepted.
