MANHATTAN — Kansas State University's McCain Auditorium presents the thrilling world dance ensemble Step Afrika! at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 6, as part of the McCain Performance Series.

Step Afrika! blends percussive dance styles practiced by historically African American fraternities and sororities, traditional African dances, and an array of contemporary dance and art forms into a cohesive, compelling artistic experience. The performance is more than a dance show with integrated songs, storytelling, humor and audience participation. The blend of technique, agility and pure energy makes each performance unique and leaves the audience with hearts pounding.

Tickets are available online at mccain.k-state.edu or at the ticket office in the McCain lobby from noon to 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Fridays. Tickets are also available by phone at 785-532-6428 during the same hours. Tickets for youth 17 and younger are half price for this show.
