I came to K-State as an Assistant Professor in August, 2007 from Melbourne, Australia. My graduate studies took place at Monash University.

Although my primary teaching and research area is children’s and adolescent literature, I also pursue interests in gender studies, Shakespeare studies, cultural studies, Australasian literature, adaptation studies, canonicity, and intertextualities.
