Geography colloquium on March 29 explores geographic dimensions of animal disease transmission

John M. Humphreys, research epidemiologist for the USDA Agricultural Research Service at the National Bio and Agro-Defense Facility, or NBAF, will present "From pathogens to landscapes: Geographical epidemiology as a framework to understand animal disease transmission dynamics" at 3 p.m. Friday, March 29, in the Wildcat Chamber of the K-State Student Union. 

Humphreys' talk is part of the department of geography and geospatial science's visiting scholar series and is sponsored by the Beta Psi Chapter of Gamma Theta Upsilon, the international geographic honor society and the department of geography and geospatial sciences.
