Kansas Board of Regents March meeting university updates

Consent agenda
K-State received approval to amend the fiscal year 2024 capital improvement plan and to approve the program statement for renovations to the restrooms in Moore Hall.
Discussion agenda
The Regents approved K-State's request to formally name a program the SGA Gordon Family Scholars. The program will be for top undergraduate students to receive scholarships, mentoring from faculty and expanded opportunities to participate in research and international activities.
The Regents approved K-State's request to award an honorary degree to Tim Taylor at the spring 2024 Graduate School commencement ceremony. Taylor is a K-State engineering alumnus and leader in the petroleum industry.
