K-State students recognized in international playwriting contest

Director/playwright Emmett Spaw, junior in theatre, was recently recognized for his play "Clean" as part of New Jersey's The Theatre Project "Think Fast" Theatre Festival.
Spaw, along with K-State students Michael Pierce, senior in theatre, and Dominic Moore, freshman in theatre, joined playwrights and directors from Florida, New York City and New Zealand for this virtual festival. Spaw was recognized as Best Director for his work on "Clean."
Previously, Spaw has had work performed at festivals in Iowa and Arizona.
