A.Q. Miller School hosts Eric Meyer of Marion County Record this Friday
Eric Meyer, editor and owner of the Marion County Record, will visit the Principles of Journalism class on Friday, Sept. 1. The discussion will take place at 9:30 a.m. in Room 4 of Kedzie Hall.
All faculty and students are invited to attend. Seating is limited to 150 people.
Meyer will speak to students and faculty about journalism's First Amendment rights and his experience with the search and seizure of the Marion County newspaper's equipment, which occurred on Aug. 11.
