Submitted by Madeline Mathis

Safia Malallah, teaching assistant professor from the computer science department at Kansas State University, is organizing a Data Science Education Panel at the upcoming Kansas Data Science Conference, slated for April 26 in Wichita. She aims to unite data science experts from diverse domains to foster an enriching dialogue.

The data science field is inherently interdisciplinary and embraces various perspectives and methodologies. To ensure a multifaceted discussion, Malallah has invited speakers from different backgrounds, including computer science, business, graduate- and undergraduate-level education, biostatistics, K-12 and community colleges, all actively teaching data science within their respective institutions.
