ARTICLE I: NAME AND PURPOSE
Section 1. This organization shall be known as the Early Childhood Education Interest Group
Section 2. The purpose(s) of this organization shall be to provide Early Childhood Education majors with the information and resources in the Early Childhood
profession in order to benefit them throughout their college career.
ARTICLE II: MEMBERSHIP
Section 1. Membership shall be open to KSU students, faculty, staff, and the community.
Section 2. The means of the selections of these members shall be open to the board.
ARTICLE III: OFFICERS
Section 1. This organization shall have the following officers: president, co-president, treasurer, and secretary who will be elected at the second to last meeting
during the spring semester.
Section 2. The selection of the officers shall be an election process redone every year.
Section 3. The duties of the officers will be decided per-year by the board.
ARTICLE IV: DUES
Section 1.The dues will be $5 per member per semester. They will be assessed by the date set by the board per year.
ARTICLE V: MEETINGS
Section 1. The times for regularly scheduled meetings will be set by the board per semester.
Section 2. Special meetings will be handled by notification of members through e-mail and/or list serve.
Section 3. The minutes, etc. will be dispersed through e-mail and/or list serve.
ARTICLE VI: COMMITTEES
Section 1. At the first meeting of the fall semester, an Open House Committee shall be appointed by the board.
ARTICLE VII: AMENDMENTS TO THE CONSTITUTION
Section 1. The procedures for amendments may be changed by a majority vote.
