This rating is my assessment of the potential attractiveness
of the book to adults. I imagine an adult who is still in touch with
his or her childlike self and could appreciate these small gems of
picture books. Would an adult enjoy reading the book even if no children
are present? To achieve a Good ( )
rating, the story is worth adult time to examine. To achieve a Magnificent ( )
rating, the book could be a magical experience for adults. This is
a book I would encourage my best friends to read. I might also give
them as presents to any adult who might appreciate them. |
