Your Workbook

Throughout this course there will be many opportunities to stop and think and collect your thoughts in a workbook format. Your Workbook may be a spiral notebook or a three-ring binder or some other durable physical form that compiles your entries.

Your Workbook can contribute to your learning in three ways. First, completing each assignment takes you away from the computer and provides an opportunity to think about the material and organize your ideas and impressions of what you have learned.

Second, your Workbook becomes a long-term record of your course experience. Years from now, you can reexamine your entries. With the passage of time and additional experience, you might discover new avenues of knowledge that did not occur to you earlier.

Third, your Workbook is a resource you can reference in your online discussion or in your Application Paper.

Your Workbook is entirely for your own personal learning guide. Although you may use your entries in the forum or paper, you will not submit the Workbook to me to have any direct impact 0n your grade.
