African communities emphasize the responsibility of the community as a whole in childrearing. Does this perspective work in American communities? Or does it take a community to support parents who raise a child?

10. Moral elevation

Have you ever witnessed an act of kindness? What happened? Did it have an “elevation” impact on you? What does “elevation” mean?
