Choices
Responding effectively as a teacher to guide your children depends on having choices.

No matter how we were raised, we have choices. We are not trapped by our past. Our past may narrow our view of what is possible, but it does not define us. We have the freedom to choose our own way. Making a choice, especially when it feels foreign requires conviction and sometimes-even courage. We always have a choice: to give in to our past or to do something different, to choose a better way. In some cases, some of us had parents who showed us a true north worth following. In this case, this path is worth following.
