The Berney Family Welcome Center serves primarily to house the Career Center and New Student Services. Although the building is available to host events, one should recognize the primary use. Failure to abide by any of the policies below may result in discontinued ability to reserve space in the Berney Family Welcome Center. Please review our building policies for more information.
To request a space in the Berney Family Welcome Center, please fill out our application request. Please allow 72 hours for your application to be reviewed. If you do not hear from our staff within 72 hours, please call 785-532-6318.

Hours
Regular business hours for the building are scheduled Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. During these times the departments occupying the building are able to schedule rooms based on departmental needs.
Reservations for non-departmental parties may occur Monday-Friday 5:30pm-10:00pm and Saturday-Sunday 8am-10:00pm. The reservation may be requested up to one month prior to the event date.
Set-up and breakdown of events must occur during the scheduled reservation time, and all guests must vacate the scheduled space at the ending time of the event, unless approved by the BFWC staff.
