Giving

K-Staters are helping their fellow Wildcats overcome any obstacles that may stand in the way of completing their degree through philanthropy and volunteer opportunities. By supporting fellow K-Staters, you demonstrate that you value K-State as an important contributor to promoting civic learning and developing socially responsible citizens. Through meaningful volunteer and community involvement, students are inspired to gather, lead and energize their Wildcat experience.

Cats' Cupboard

Cats' Cupboard is a collaborative effort among students, faculty, staff, and community focused on promoting food security at K-State. This initiative aims to provide direct food access through an on-campus food pantry, in addition to education and engagement opportunities. Cats' Cupboard will be accessible to all K-State students.

Center for Advocacy, Response, and Education (CARE)

The Center for Advocacy, Response and Education (CARE) provides confidential, free, and voluntary services and advocacy for survivors of sexual violence, dating violence, stalking, and sexual harassment.

Emotional Health & Well-being Excellence Fund

Kick-started by the March 2022 All-In for K-State day of giving, this fund supports K-State's Counseling and Psychological Services and the Morrison Family Center for Student Well-being efforts to increase access to mental health services for K-State Students.

eSports

eSports is a genre of video games with a competitve element or dimension. It is a global phenomenon, particularly among the college-aged population. This fund benefits the eSports Club Program at K-State.

First-Generation Student Excellence Fund

The First-Generation Student Center supports students whose parents/guardians did not complete a four-year degree. 65% of first-generation students use financial aid during their first-year, compared to 45% of continuing generation students. Financial assitance is a key factor in improving first-generation students' graduation rates.

Greene TRIO Excellence Fund

TRIO Programs are federal outreach and student services programs designed to identify and provide services for individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds. TRIO serves and assists low-income individuals, first-generation college students, and individuals with disabilities to progress through the academic pipeline from middle school to post-baccalaureate programs. This fund was established in honor of director emeritus Dr. Kathy Greene to extend her vision for TRIO programs at K-State.

K-State First

K-State First, a program for first-year freshman and transfer students, helps new K-Staters navigate the academic and personal changes they encounter in their first-year on campus. Building a solid foundation through K-State First's suite of programs prepares students for lasting success in college and beyond.

Morris Family Multicultural Student Center

The Morris Family Multicultural Student Center open in November 2020 with over $6.3M in committed gifts raised toward the development of the center. Additional funds will continue the mission of the center.

Parents & Family Program

The Parents & Family Program is a community of actively engage families dedicated to the support and success of their students. This free program is supported solely by private contributions to the K-State Parents and Family Fund.

Pre-Professional Advising Center

The Pre-Professional Advising Center provides guidance and programming to encourage students to explore professional fields and prepare for a competitive application to professional programs such as law, medicine, pharmacy, physical therapy, physician assistant, dentistry, occupational therapy, nursing, veterinary medicine, and more. The Center has funds through which donors can support students pursuing professional degrees.

CPR: Cats for Pre-Health Resources (F21315)

This fund supports pre-health students.

K-State Pre-Law Program Excellence Fund (F29105)

Supports guest speakers, student and advisor travel for law school visits, and materials for LSAT preparation.

Daralyn Gordon Arata Pre-Law Excellence Fund (C17050)

Supports a trip to Washington, D.C., and trips that emphasize legal opportunities in rural and urban Kansas.

Student Life Enrichment Fund

The Student Life Enrichment Fund provides financial support for the Division of Student Life enrichment opportunities that enhance the student life experience at K-State.
