Public disclosure

Understanding the scope of sexual and interpersonal violence is a key element to drive change.

The Culture of Respect's public disclosure pillar groups goals into three areas:

  • Communicate regularly.
  • Collect data.
  • Other disclosure.

Following our self-assessment, K-State's goals to openly communicate data and information are:

  • Expand sexual and interpersonal violence outreach efforts and data reporting via social media and other mediums.
Leads: Kevin Cook and Ryan Van Dusen
  • Ensure strengthening sexual and interpersonal violence prevention and response is included in the university's strategic plan.
    Lead: Thomas Lane
  • Better inform alumni and parents/family on the impact of sexual and interpersonal violence on student success.
    Lead: Brandon Moreno
  • Explore ways to present instances of sexual and interpersonal violence occurring beyond Clery geography.
