Short Biography:

I'm a life long resident of the State of Kansas and have lived in the Manhattan/Wamego area for the past 12 years. I've worked for the State of Kansas for over 27 years in Topeka, Lawrence and Manhattan. I received my bachelors degree from KU while raising three young boys as a single parent. I'm now the grandmother of 3 girls and a boy.

Brief Work History:

I've been with Housing & Dining for over 11 years processing resident hall contracts, Jardine agreements, meals plans, door access, summer conferences along with a variety other administrative duties. I also spent 13 years at KU in a variety of positions. I served on the Classified Senate for several years while at KU.

Personal Interests:

My faith is important to me. I'm involved in serving community meals through my church and I'm a Stephen Minister. I love to garden and share the produce with my church, co-workers, family, those in need. I have a passion for turkey hunting and teaching youth how to hunt and take care of the land. When time allows, I enjoy fishing. During the winter months, sewing, quilting, and crafts occupy my time.Additional Comments:
