Laboratory Safety Renovation Program
Safe and functional research and teaching laboratories are critical to advancing Kansas State University to meet our vision of becoming a top 50 public research university. The Laboratory Safety Renovation Program provides funding to address safety and compliance issues within laboratories.
Uncommitted central funding of $500,000 has been identified from the deferred maintenance support fund. Proposals for funding support require a one-to-one department match leveraging up to $1 million invested in the improvement of our laboratories to enhance teaching and research.
The Laboratory Renovation Working Group will review and prioritize proposals based on the guiding principles.
Eligibility
- Proposals must address resolution of a safety or compliance concern within or related to research or teaching laboratory space.
