College of Agriculture selects new student ambassadors

Submitted by Logan Britton

The College of Agriculture at Kansas State University has selected 29 students to serve as ambassadors. As College of Agriculture ambassadors, their main responsibilities are to recruit prospective students and to tell their own K-State story. They will also assist with more than 650 prospective student visits and represent the college and university at various events throughout the year.

Prior to being named ambassadors, the students had to pass the College of Agriculture Training, or CAT, program, an eight-week course teaching students about the college. Upon completion they submitted an application, were interviewed by faculty and current ambassadors and gave a presentation on how the College of Agriculture prepares students for a career in agriculture.
