17th annual K-State Leadership Seminar: 'Working Together to Create High-Performing Teams'

Submitted by Katie Mayes

Join us for the annual K-State Leadership Seminar on Wednesday, March 27.

This year’s Leadership Seminar, "Working Together to Create High-Performing Teams," will feature Tom Champoux. He is a nationally recognized and dynamic speaker, energizing trainer and effective coach who dramatically demonstrates the need for organizations to shift focus away from power and toward collaborative responsibility. Having a strong team leads to success, everywhere from higher education, to agriculture, to business. That’s why it’s important to have leaders who recognize the power that teams or groups can provide to their organization.

This seminar will give participants:

  • Practical, hands-on information and tools.
  • Best practices for effective leadership.
  • Inspiration to exercise leadership when it really counts.
  • An idea of where to go for additional leadership resources
  • A connection to others who are working to grow their leadership skills.

The Leadership Seminar will be 8:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the K-State Alumni Center. Early registration is $85 for individuals and $95 per person for groups of three or more. The deadline for early registration is March 1.
