Safe Zone advanced training offered Oct. 29

Submitted by Kodee Walls

A Safe Zone training on intersectionality when working with survivors of trauma will be noon to 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29, in 1062 Seaton Hall.

Presenters will include experts from the Student Access Center, the LGBT Resource Center and the CARE office.

Learn about intersectionality, while recognizing varying forms of violence and how they relate to an individual's identity. We'll hear from student affairs professionals who work with students with disabilities, students in the LGBTQ community and individuals who have experienced trauma.
