Union and UPC accepting ambassador applications

The K-State Student Union and Union Program Council, or UPC, are now accepting applications for K-State Student Union Ambassadors. The ambassador program will provide outstanding student leaders with the opportunity to become a liaison with prospective students, on-campus organizations and the Manhattan and Kansas State University communities as a whole to promote the Union and Union Program Council.

Three ambassadors were chosen last spring and three additional positions will be filled to represent the Union and Union Program Council to various communities within and outside campus. These individuals will include a fraternity ambassador, sorority ambassador, residence hall ambassador, Jardine and leadership house ambassador, campus community ambassador and community ambassador.

Applicants must have strong leadership skills, an outgoing personality, a passion for K-State, be enrolled in at least six credit hours and maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.25. To apply online, visit www.k-state.edu/upc. Applications are due by noon Friday, Sept 21.
