International students invited to job search workshop
The K-State Career Center will host its annual Job Search for International Students workshop at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, in the Berney Family Welcome Center's Davis Theater. All international students are invited to attend this event designed to assist them as they search for employment in the U.S. market.
Students can expect to learn interviewing skills, how to build a resume meeting U.S. expectations, and other helpful Career Center resources such as GoinGlobal. A representative from International Student and Scholar Services will also be present to answer students’ questions regarding work authorization.
Students can also schedule an appointment through Handshake to get one-on-one assistance from a career advisor. Find more information about this and other events at the Career Center website.
