Annual Part-Time Opportunities Fair Thursday
The Career Center will host the annual Part-Time Opportunities Fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 23, in the K-State Student Union Ballroom.
Students who are looking for a job can visit with representatives from campus departments, local businesses and community agencies that are hiring for part-time jobs, internship positions and volunteer opportunities. The fair is also a great way for students seeking full-time employment in the Manhattan area to network with local businesses.
It is recommended that students bring multiple copies of their resume and their student ID to check in at the event. Students should dress in business casual attire and review employer listings on Handshake before arriving. The Career Center also recommends reading through its fair tips beforehand to ensure both students and employers get the most out of the event.
