Center for Student Involvement to close student organization registration Friday

Submitted by Kelli Farris

The OrgSync registration/renewal process for student organizations closes at 5 p.m. Friday, May 11. All groups that haven't registered will need to re-register their organization through their OrgSync portal by 5 p.m. Friday.

After May 11, portals will be disabled and groups will not be recognized by the university.

You can log into your organization’s OrgSync portal to re-register. If there is a bright orange box that says "Your attention is needed!" then you need to click the "Update Now" button to update the registration.

Remember that Departmental Student Organizations, or DSOs, will need to have a representative from the sponsoring department to agree to support the organization. When you re-register and enter the department head or representative, OrgSync will automatically notify that person to approve and complete the registration. Independent Student Organizations, or ISOs, do not require an advisor or departmental approval.

Read the student organization policy

Questions about the registration process may be directed to Ashley Douglass at aldouglass@k-state.edu or by calling the center at 785-532-6541.
