Relevate releases research and pop culture relationship podcast
Relevate, a multidisciplinary team of researchers, has recently released a new podcast called "Relevate Presents: Scholars Ship," which features relationship researchers who provide insights on famous fictional TV and movie couples using relationship research.
The first episode features Amber Vennum, K-State associate professor of couple and family therapy, who talks about Baby and Johnny from "Dirty Dancing." The second episode features Denzel Jones, K-State doctoral student, who ranks the top three best and worst couples that appeared on Nickelodeon TV shows from the '90s. Relevate is a multidisciplinary team of researchers from K-State and other institutions whose vision is to provide research-based information about diverse relationships that is accessible to everyone and tailored to each person's unique journey to elevate the lives of people across the world on their journey in and between relationships. As part of this mission, Relevate is creating a website and smart phone app that can be tailored to meet the relationship needs of each user.
