Kansas City Royals and Chiefs marketing executives to present in Sports Marketing Speaker Series this week

Marketing executives from both the Kansas City Royals and the Kansas City Chiefs will be the featured presenters for the K-State Sports Marketing Speaker Series this week.

K-State alumnus and senior account executive for group sales and season tickets Britt Gardner will be joined by senior director of advertising and marketing Brad Zollars for the Kansas City Royals' appearance beginning at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 27, in the College of Business Building Lecture Hall.

Another K-State alumnus and director of service and activation, Kellen Begnoche, along with his colleague and director of suite sales Anthony Matthies will speak as representatives of the Kansas City Chiefs. Their presentation also will begin at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, March 1, in the College of Business Building Lecture Hall.

The Sports Marketing Speaker Series is organized by marketing professor Doug Walker as part of the curriculum for his MKTG630: Sports Marketing class. The students and Walker welcome members of the public to attend the events. The events are free and no ticket is required. Seating is first come, first served.
