Free noontime yoga on campus

K-State Noontime Yoga welcomes you to the spring 2018 semester. Join nonviolence studies and programs and UFM for noontime yoga.

Noontime yoga is a free, volunteer-based program that provides an outlet for students, staff, faculty and community members to practice yoga together in a friendly, noncompetitive environment. See the PDF flier. 

The group meets from 12:05-12:50 p.m. Monday through Friday in 301 Ahearn Field House Gymnasium. The easiest way to find noontime yoga is to enter the building on the north side — facing the engineering building — with the word "Gymnasium" over the doors and take the stairs all the way up to the third floor.

Bring a yoga mat if you have one, but loaner mats are available and wear comfortable clothing. The loaner yoga mat cabinet is the second cabinet you come to in 301, the personal yoga mat cabinet is the first and they are labeled. Feel free to leave your mat in the personal cabinet; just put your name on it. Both cabinets are locked daily.

Yoga classes are for all levels and abilities. You are encouraged to listen to your body and modify poses as necessary. The group's yoga leaders are all volunteers from K-State and the community.

There are no requirements to attend. Please sign in each time for our participation waiver — PDF — and attendance sheet. Show up when you can, even if you have to be a little late or need to leave a little early. Please enter and exit quietly so you don't disturb the rest of the class.
