Eat lunch for free and meet your career advisor at the Career Center Cookout
Kansas State University's Career Center invites new and returning students to start their fall semester with the Career Center Cookout from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 24., on the north lawn of the Berney Family Welcome Center.
Previously known as the Backyard BBQ, this event has been part of the Week of Welcome for more than 10 years.
Stop by to see Willie and enjoy lunch on us. Students who activate and update their online Career Center account will receive a free T-shirt, while supplies last. The online Career Center account contains part-time positions, internships and full-time positions.
On Thursday, Aug. 25, the Career Center also invites students to attend the Part-Time Opportunities Fair, where they can learn about on and off-campus part-time jobs and internships.
