New career development program for students with disabilities

Submitted by Ashley Bailey

The Student Access Center and Career and Employment Services have launched Empower Cats, a pilot program designed to provide individual career development coaching for students with disabilities.

Participants are guided by staff from both offices to identify strengths, learn job search strategies and practice interviewing. The program, initiated in fall 2015, continues through the 2016 spring semester.

Interested participants or those with questions may contact Trent McGee at smcgee@k-state.edu.
