K-State geographer to discuss the terrestrial water storage in the Anthropocene

Jida Wang, assistant professor of geography, will give a public lecture at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, March 3, in the K-State Student Union's Little Theater.

Wang will outline methods used to improve our understanding of global terrestrial water storage in an era of significant human impacts. His talk is being presented for students participating in the capstone course of the natural resources and environmental, or NRES, science secondary major and is open to the general public as part of the NRES Seminar Series. Undergraduate students interested in natural resources, environmental science and sustainability issues are especially encouraged to attend.

The NRES secondary major and its seminar series are supported by the Office of the Provost, College of Agriculture, College of Arts & Sciences, biological and agricultural engineering department and geography department.
