Engagement Brown Bag Nov. 6

Submitted by Kylie Rupe

An Engagement Brown Bag with Elaine Johannes from the School of Family Studies and Human Services and Huston Gibson from landscape architecture and regional and community planning, will be from 9-10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 6, in 247 Leadership Studies.

The Center for Engagement and Community Development and the Staley School of Leadership Studies are partnering to present a series of professional development opportunities where faculty, staff and administrators from across campus can talk about community-engaged scholarship.

The Carnegie Foundation is especially interested in how institutions of higher education are integrating engaged scholarship into their governance documents. Two presenters will talk about their units' efforts to recognize and reward engaged scholarship. We hope you and your students are able to join us.
