K-State students awarded at criminal justice regional competition

Members from the Kansas State University Kappa Sigma Upsilon chapter of Lambda Alpha Epsilon, a national criminal justice fraternity and an official student organization, were among 114 people who attended the recent American Criminal Justice Association's regional conference in Columbia, Missouri.

At the conference, students participate in a series of competitions including: crime scene investigation, gun shooting competition and academic testing. Rebekah Esau, junior in sociology, placed third, and Adriana Olivas, senior in sociology, placed second in the Corrections Exam.
