Powercat Financial Counseling will sponsor  the Eating Healthy On a Budget workshop from 6-7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 26, in the Flint Hills Room at the K-State Student Union. The event is free for students.

Ginny Bernard, family and consumer sciences extension agent, will explain how to set up a budget that constitutes healthy choices, and will demonstrate and actually create a budget to show students the process.

K-State students also will receive a handful of articles and tips about eating healthy without breaking the bank. The first 30 students will receive free food.
