Know your money and win a chance at a free Keurig

Submitted by Jodi Kaus

Powercat Financial Counseling is brewing up a challenge with an online scavenger hunt as part of SALT’s Know Your Money Day from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 6 at Bosco Plaza for all K-State students to help students understand their money.

Complete and return the scavenger hunt form by 5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27, to be placed in a drawing to win one of two Keurig personal coffee makers.

Read information to answer these questions. The scavenger hunt form must be fully completed and correct to be eligible and can either be dropped off at the Powercat Financial Counseling offices in 108 or 109 Hale Library or emailed to powercatfinancial@ksu.edu. Students who submit a competed scavenger hunt form to Hale library will receive a free coffee K cup — first come first serve.

SALTmoney.org is a great online financial tool that is free for all K-State students and alumni that can be utilized to learn about personal finances, track and manage student loans and look for jobs, internships and scholarships.

Winners will be announced at our holiday Thrifty Gifting event at 4:30 p.m. Nov. 10 in the K-State Student Union Flint Hills Room. More prizes and financial fun will be there but you do not have to be present to win.
